WEBSITE TERMS
GaugeLink website terms of use
The terms governing access to and use of the public GaugeLink website.
EFFECTIVE JULY 28, 2026
Last updated July 28, 2026
These Website Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern access to and use of the public GaugeLink website. GaugeLink is a product owned by 2718551 Alberta Inc. (“GaugeLink,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
GaugeLink works with GaugeLink AK LLC to support opportunities and deployments in Alaska. The entity responsible for providing paid services or hardware will be identified in the applicable proposal, order form, or customer agreement.
By accessing or using this website, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the website.
Public information
This website provides general information about GaugeLink, the DTU 702 IoT gateway, deployment options, and related services. It is not operational, engineering, installation, safety, legal, compliance, procurement, or emergency advice.
Public product descriptions summarize capabilities and benefits. Detailed specifications, compatibility determinations, installation requirements, pricing, warranties, and service commitments are provided through approved customer or project documentation.
Transport security
DTU gateways use encrypted WireGuard VPN tunnels to communicate with GaugeLink servers. This protects gateway traffic in transit across the configured tunnel; it is not a representation that every record, export, third-party integration, email, or browser interaction is end-to-end encrypted by WireGuard.
Applications and inquiries
Submitting an application or inquiry:
- Does not create a production account.
- Does not guarantee acceptance, equipment compatibility, availability, pricing, a pilot, or deployment.
- Does not form a contract or establish a service-level commitment.
- Allows us to review and respond to the submission as described in the GaugeLink Privacy Notice.
An authorized GaugeLink administrator may convert an approved application into a GaugeLink SaaS account or dedicated-deployment provisioning record. Access begins only after required agreements, invitations, configuration, and onboarding are completed.
Customer services
GaugeLink SaaS, dedicated single-tenant deployments, hardware, support, integrations, installation, warranties, and professional services are governed by separate proposals, order forms, or agreements.
If these Terms conflict with an executed customer agreement, the customer agreement governs the covered service.
Product compatibility and certifications
Compatibility depends on the exact equipment, interface, configuration, firmware, network, site conditions, and intended use. References to supported manufacturers, models, or connection methods do not mean that every product or configuration is supported.
The GaugeLink DTU 702 is represented as FCC certified and as using a UL Listed power supply. The UL Listing statement applies to the power supply, not to the entire DTU 702 gateway. These statements do not represent certification of the GaugeLink software platform, customer installation, connected gauge, network, or an organization as a whole.
Certification status, applicable conditions, and required installation documentation control over any summary on this website. The public website does not publish the gateway’s FCC identifier.
Acceptable use
You must not:
- Interfere with or attempt to bypass website or platform security.
- Probe, scan, or test systems without written authorization.
- Submit malicious code, automated spam, false identity information, or unlawful content.
- Attempt to access another applicant’s, customer’s, or user’s information.
- Use public forms to transmit credentials, secrets, or unnecessary sensitive personal information.
- Copy, scrape, or reuse website content in violation of law or these Terms.
- Imply endorsement by GaugeLink, 2718551 Alberta Inc., GaugeLink AK LLC, a customer, equipment manufacturer, certification organization, or government body without authorization.
Good-faith security concerns should be sent through the approved GaugeLink security-reporting channel when published. Do not include active credentials or unnecessary personal information.
Intellectual property
The GaugeLink website and its original text, graphics, interfaces, software, and branding are owned by or licensed to 2718551 Alberta Inc. and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.
Third-party names and marks—including equipment manufacturers, integration providers, FCC identifiers, and UL marks—belong to their respective owners. References describe certification, compatibility, or integration and do not imply endorsement unless expressly stated.
You receive only a limited, revocable, non-exclusive right to use the public website for its intended informational and application purposes.
Accuracy and changes
We seek to keep public information accurate, but features, compatibility, deployment options, integrations, and availability may change.
Website information does not replace an approved proposal, compatibility assessment, certification record, data sheet, order form, installation guide, or customer agreement.
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue public content, subject to applicable contractual and legal obligations.
Third-party links
Third-party links are provided for convenience. We do not control their content, security, availability, or privacy practices and do not endorse them merely by linking.
Disclaimer
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the public website is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We disclaim warranties, conditions, and representations regarding the public website, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, and uninterrupted availability.
Nothing in these Terms excludes a warranty, condition, right, or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, 2718551 Alberta Inc. and GaugeLink AK LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of profit, revenue, opportunity, goodwill, or data, arising from use of or inability to use the public website.
These limitations do not govern paid GaugeLink services where an applicable customer agreement provides different terms. Nothing limits liability that cannot legally be limited.
Emergency and safety matters
GaugeLink website, contact, application, email, and support channels are not emergency services. Do not use them to report an immediate threat to life, safety, property, or the environment. Contact the appropriate emergency authority and follow your organization’s incident procedures.
GaugeLink does not replace required inspections, manual verification, safety systems, alarms, emergency procedures, or professional judgment.
The GaugeLink mobile app
Use of the GaugeLink mobile app for iPhone and Android is governed by the GaugeLink Mobile App Terms together with your organization’s customer agreement. These Website Terms apply to the app only where the Mobile App Terms say so.
Privacy
Our handling of personal information through the website is described in the GaugeLink Privacy Notice.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada applicable there, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Mandatory rights that apply in another jurisdiction are not excluded.
Customer and Alaska-specific contracting terms may select another governing law in the applicable agreement.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms by posting a revised version and effective date. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance to the extent permitted by law.
